早前 Microsoft 在 Build 大会上发布 Windows Terminal 工具，这套工具集传统 CMD、PowerShell 及 Windows Subsystem for Linux 于一身。开发者甚至可以在 Windows Terminal 来 Compile 程式，
今天 Microsoft 正式将这套工具的 Preview 版于 Windows Store 上架。Windows Terminal 设有 Tab 分页功能支援，也提供不同的 Theme 让用户将 Terminal 按照个人的喜好作出个人化。而 Windows Terminal 本身支援 GPU-based text rendering 甚至 Emoji 也有，文字也以 DirectX-based 来 render。
为了提升 Windows Subsystem for Linux 的效能，Microsoft 更特意将完整的 Linux Kernel 引进 Windows 10，对开发者来说可谓相当方便。
