Epic Games 早前因为 Fortnite 加入绕过 App Store 及 Google Play 的内购付费功能后，先后被 Apple 及 Google 将这套著名手游下架。
今天，Epic Games 透过 Fortnite 官方网站 FAQ 更新，通知用户 iPhone、iPad、Mac 无法在 8 月 27 日收到 Season 更新。至于 Android 平台，则可透过 APK 方式推出，不用经 Google Play 进行。虽然不少手游也可不经 App Store/Google Play，只透过更新包来升级，但看来 Epic 无意为 iOS 玩家提供更新，以示"抗议"？
